Frequently Asked Questions
What is Acutonics®?
Acutonics® is a gentle, non-invasive form of sound healing that uses precision-calibrated tuning forks on the body's acupuncture points and meridians. The forks are tuned to the frequencies of the planets, and their vibration works with your body's own rhythms to settle the nervous system and bring you back into balance. It is a calm alternative to acupuncture, with no needles.
What is Jin Shin Do® Bodymind Acupressure®?
Jin Shin Do® Bodymind Acupressure®, "the Way of the Compassionate Spirit," uses gentle, sustained finger pressure on acupoints to release held tension and free the flow of energy through the body. Many people find it deeply relaxing and settling, a chance to let the body unwind without having to talk or think your way through it.
What happens in a planetary gong sound bath?
You lie down comfortably, fully clothed, and simply receive. Ron plays a complete set of planetary gongs tuned to the solar system, and you rest in the waves of sound. There is nothing you need to do. Most people describe it as a deep reset that leaves them grounded, spacious, and lighter.
Why book a session, and how will I feel afterward?
People come to feel more grounded, clear, and connected to themselves, and to move through stress, tension, or a sense of being stuck. The work reaches beneath the mind, so you do not have to understand or explain what is going on; it addresses the body and its energy directly. Most people leave calmer, lighter, and more like themselves. It is honestly hard to put into words until you have experienced it.
